Final Thoughts on the Course:

Favourite Assignment? Why?
Personally, my favorite assignment would have to be the buried life. It made me think harder about the future and motivated me to follow some of my dreams. Just an interesting assignment if you ask me..
Least Favourite Assignment? Why?
I wouldn't say that twitter fiction was my least favorite  i however didn't enjoy using twitter.. I would have rather done write a creative story kind of assignment.
Friday Reading?
Was fun, lots of books to choose from .. Always enjoyed a nice half hour book read.
Monday Written Reflection?
Honestly didn't do much of them, can't really say an opinion on it..
The Writer's Notebook?
I actually ended up losing mine, so i had to use scrap paper for the rest of the course. I did enjoy keeping it around to jot down random thoughts and creative stories i decided to come up with on my spare time.
Blogging?
Not my favorite, I doubt i'll be using this blog once i'm out of this course.. My apologies.
Tweeting?
As i said earlier, not my favorite. Won't be keeping that account either.
The integration of technology into the course?
My thought before coming into the course was well very off.. I was under the impression that this course would focus on Creative Writing through pen and paper, not through technology. For others this is a great course to expand your multimedia knowledge, but for some others .. it was a let down.
What you learned about yourself as a reader, writer, and thinker, creator?
I learned that I'm not interested in what i thought i might be interested in, as well as expand myself as a writer.
Comments/Compliments/Constructive criticism for Ms. McLauchlan about the course
Ms.McLauchlan was a great teacher, Loved the very positive vibes. I hope you'll teach my next englsih class . Maybe put more of a description for the course outline.
Advice for future CW students?

Weekly Relfection #6

For this twitter fiction assignment , I actually completed it ahead of time and really enjoyed the concept of it. As much as i enjoy writing in full length, it was a more simpler way to put my texts into multimedia thought. Nifty stuff if you ask me .. I decided to tell a fiction tale with the influence of Hunter S Thompson writing as well as a flare of my own writing skills. Like i said earlier, it's an extended story... so multiple tweets will tell the story. I have added images into the story, honestly i'm quite more ahead in this assignment than i have been all semester - ha.. I think i may have to add a few more minor details, but it seems like i have completed something i really didn't want any part of.

Writing Experiment.

" The words were clear, this was not a story meant for children. I pushed my child into the other room and carefully pulled the wall paper off the wall to read the hidden message. I began reading, It was Mary Shaws legend... I thought it was nearly a myth, clearly i was mistaken.  Such dark words, such despair... I was learning so much that was kept hidden from us for so long. I kept reading, but as i got to the final paragraph my bones began to shake. I felt so uncomfortable and disgusting . My child came into the room and put their tiny arms around me in a embrace like motion. It startled me, but i soon felt comfort. I tried to hug back but my arms were so weak. I couldn't handle this stress, i crumpled the wallpaper up and took my leave outside. If her legend was the only reason keeping this thought around i decided i'd burn it. I lit the fire pit and waited patiently for the flames to grow.. At the right moment i threw the papers into the fire and watched it slowly burn the text away. Her legend will no longer live on..

Sick Life

I'd almost like to thank the person who gave me this god forsaken cold, I've never felt crappier. As well as this day continuing to drag on... I'd prefer to be sleeping honestly.
Signing off.

Thought id share some of my light painting that we did in Photography. I think they turned out better than i expected. I took a total 52 photos, and these were my "best" four.

Writing Reflection: News Paper blackout

The process of writing this was almost stressful. At first youre looking at these news paper thinking how could I ever make this into a poem? It's almost as if it doesn't make sense in your head after you read out what you've chosen to work with. It started getting easier after time and the words slowly fell in place. You need to really open your mind and thoughts with this project. It's unique in its own way, almost hard to explain. But it's neat that if you don't have the words to say something, you could find them right there on the paper. I learned that my mind need's certain vices to open up and produce something amazing. I find myself making silly poems with old news papers at work constantly now that we've done this assignment.
