Based on the cover of the book I predicted that the book had something to do with Narcotics.. Mostly LSD, which is formally known as Acid. LSD comes in cards with small designs imprinted on them. I was confused to read some of the slang terms. It almost had me wondering where this book takes place .. my question was soon answered. The book takes place in Philadelphia.
Fridays reading class was average as usual, but i took a very strong interest in reading this book. Almost as if i got hooked into the words. I carried on my afternoon reading a few more chapters.
I noticed that there isn't a real story going on throughout the first few pages. He explains his LSD experience with very vivid and descriptive text. I feel as if this is a good way to open the story, because it get's you hooked just as I said earlier. I'm wondering if the rest of the book is written in this sort of format.. Or if it has an actual story line..

Do you enjoy simplistic novels as well ? How about books about addictions and true events? Can you relate to where the people in these types of novels are coming from ?
